Our food tour in Turin is a tasty (and tasteful…) way to discover the city’s gastronomic wealth.
We have designed this walking tour especially for food lovers who want to enjoy both high-quality goods and know more about its background, such as production methods and local traditions.
Along the stroll, you will taste excellent products: cured meat, grissini (typically Piedmontese crunchy bread sticks), ice cream and above all chocolate. Chocolate is a big part of the Turinese culture, especially in combination with hazelnuts. Turin is also home to the world-renowned Lavazza company, whose founder Luigi opened the first coffee-roasting shop in the city in 1895. A tasting of an espresso coffee, like the Italians take it, is an absolute must!
The icing on the cake: an exploration of the colorful Porta Palazzo market, which represents the hub of all food activity in town.
