PISA AND LUCCA TOUR

Mention Pisa and the first thing that comes to mind is the Leaning Tower. The beauty of the Romanesque architecture of the Baptistery, the Cathedral, and, of course, the legendary tower will leave you in awe. It is now possible to climb the tower, where the view over the town and the surrounding countryside makes the few hundred-steps climb all the worthwhile!Lucca is considered one of Italy’s most refined cities. Famous for its tree topped city walls, originally built in the 16th century and to this day still in perfect condition; it is best visited on foot or by bicycle. The
historical centre is close off to traffic, and therefore very pleasant for a leisurely stroll or cycle. Lucca was renowned internationally during the Renaissance period for the producing of silk garments. This trade brought many riches to the town and now one can admire aristocratic liberty style palaces, quaint squares and medieval churches.
